Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sub Contract Buyer to join their procurement and supply chain team in Luton on a 12-month contract.
This is a great opportunity in Luton, to work on exciting projects that contribute to national security, collaborating with a world-class team at the forefront of Electronic Warfare (EW) innovation.
As a Senior Sub Contract Buyer, you’ll:
*Lead Procurement Strategies: Deliver tailored solutions for tangible and intangible commitments across Development & EW Payloads.
*Build Robust Contracts: Negotiate agreements that mitigate risk, promote lifecycle value, and foster strong supplier relationships.
*Influence Key Decisions: Drive business outcomes throughout the Life Cycle Management (LCM) framework.
*Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally to review customer contracts, flowdowns, and specifications.
*Ensure Compliance: Manage export controls, third-party rights, and contractual obligations with precision.
Key Skills: *Solid understanding of contract management and negotiation skills
*Strong understanding of LCM, Export Compliance, and commercial/legal contracting aspects.
*Production planning experience
*SAP/MRP experience
*Knowledge of Sharepoint
*Degree-level qualification or significant relevant experience (MCIPS preferred).
*SC clearance
