Chemistry Teacher *Annual Salary: To Teacher payscales
*Location: West Sussex
*Job Type: Full-time, starting January
We are seeking a Chemistry Teacher to join our vibrant academic team at our fantastic private school. This role is suitable for an NQT or someone looking for their second teaching position. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Chemistry up to A Level and Physics up to GCSE. An ability to teach an additional subject such as Maths would be advantageous.PLEASE NOTE, THIS SCHOOL CANNOT SPONSOR AND REQUIRES A DRIVER TO GET TO SITE.
Day-to-day of the role: *Teach Chemistry to students at KS3, GCSE, and A Level, and Physics up to at least GCSE.
*Engage fully in the life of the school, both in and outside the classroom.
*Contribute to our thriving co-curricular programme, which is essential to our community.
*Maintain high academic standards and support students to achieve excellent examination results.
*Work in small class settings with no more than 20 students, allowing for impactful teaching and individual attention.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience teaching Chemistry and Physics, with the ability to teach up to A Level in Chemistry.
*Strong academic track record and passion for teaching.
*Ability to teach an additional subject such as Maths is preferred.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to professional development and learning.
