Teacher of Business and IT
Location: Gosport
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Business and IT to join a successful 11-18 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.
Role Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and challenging Business and IT lessons across Key Stages 3, and 4 (potentially KS5 in time)
*Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
*Contribute to curriculum development and improvement planning for both subjects
*Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
*Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and digital literacy
*Prepare students for GCSE and A-level examinations in Business and IT
The Ideal Candidate:
*Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Is degree educated in a relevant subject area
*Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in both Business and IT
*Shows commitment to raising student achievement and inspiring future entrepreneurs and tech innovators
*Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
