Part-time Head of FP&A | Rapid Growth Hardware/SaaS Tech Scale-Up | Fully Remote (Uk-Based)
The Client
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a Hardware Tech, SaaS Scale-Up in their search for a Head of FP&A on a part-time, yet permanent, basis. Our client is privately owned and have seen significant year on year growth, now trading across EMEA and the US. This role is fully remote, with the option to work from their London head office.
Their business model revolves around the innovation and manufacturing of their unique hardware product with a bolt-on management platform, which is sold on a SaaS model. Their management platform is increasingly becoming a source of recurring revenue for the business and will likely become their mainstream of income in the near future.
The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and adaptable Head of FP&A to report directly into the Group CFO, who has Scale-Up experience, ideally in the manufacturing, Tech, or SaaS space, and can cover many bases across their finance team. The broad scope of this role will suit a versatile finance professional who is adept at both statutory accounting as well as commercial finance and FP&A.
Responsibilities
*Prepare consolidated statutory accounts.
*Work closely with tax advisors and authorities to ensure compliance.
*Budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning.
*Produce consolidated monthly and quarterly management reports.
*Multi-currency payments and treasury management.
*Management of P&L, balance sheet, & revenue recognition for physical goods and SaaS.
*Transfer pricing.
*Review and improve financial processes and controls.
*Management of 2 Junior Analysts.
Essential Skills
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
*Comfortable taking responsibility for an entire finance function.
*A willingness to roll up sleeves and get hands on with finance.
*Strong knowledge of multicurrency accounting.
*Excellent time management skills.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Attention to detail.
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 FTE
