Join Our Team as a SEN Teaching Assistant!
Are you passionate about working with children with complex disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Tezlom is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools in and around Harrow , West London.
About the Role:
*Work with young children in schools as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
*Assist with personal care and toileting requirements.
*Support children with various needs such as children on oxygen, standing frames, walker, wheelchairs, etc.
*Knowledge of children using eye-gazers is beneficial.
*Provide support to students with additional needs and learning difficulties.
*Assist with feeding during lunch and help children on and off school transport.
*Work with children who are non-verbal, experience with sign language and PECS is an advantage.
Requirements:
*Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with severe learning difficulties as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
*Enhanced DBS Certificate for working with children registered on the online update service or willing to process a new application.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Provide professional related references
*Having a valid Driver’s Licence and your own car is an advantage.
