Audit & Accounts Senior – St Albans, Hertfordshire – Top 15 Firm
Are you an Audit and Accounts Senior looking for a step up to a Top 15 firm without the commute to Central London Are you looking for a complex and exciting client base with the chance for fast progression and more client-facing responsibility
Our client is a Top 15 firm with one of the most flexible working arrangements in the market alongside structured technical development and an exciting client base. With a modern and progressive mindset, this firm is one of the leaders in automation and data-driven solutions within the accountancy practice market.
Audit & Accounts Senior responsibilities include:
*Responsible for auditing of companies, charities and education businesses including planning, and finalisation of jobs, in a wide range of sectors.
*Preparation of tax computations and Corporation Tax returns (CT600) with the support from the tax specialist team, as required.
*Preparation of statutory accounts of companies, and consolidated accounts of groups together with tax computations under FRS102 and IFRS requirements from client draft figures.
*Identifying business development opportunities with clients and progressing these in liaison with Partner/Director.
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will:
*Be ACA or ACCA Qualified, or finalist
*Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
*Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
*Have a strong skillset across accountancy, including corporate tax.
*Preferably have working knowledge of CCH or Pro-Audit
*Ideally have audited large, complex clients and consolidated group structures
