We are partnered with a leading food manufacturing and processing business based in Northampton who are looking for a Despatch Supervisor on a permanent basis. The role is hands on and responsible for supervising the despatch department.

Job Description
*Responsible for supervising the Despatch department and ensuring all staff adhere to working procedures and processes.
*Loading, unloading and palletising.
*Overseeing the completion of daily production schedules and communicating work instructions to all team members.
*Evaluating the performance of team leaders and operatives against designated instructions.
*Liaising with all members of the despatch department to monitor quality issues so that standards aren’t compromised.
*Ensuring comprehensive traceability control
*Training and retraining when required

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
*Valid Counterbalance Forklift license
*Previous experience working within food manufacturing is advantageous as you will be working in a chilled environment
