Job Title: Point of Sale (POS) Project Coordinator
Location: Hybrid (Home working and Birmingham office with national client site travel)
Salary: up to £45,000, depending on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced POS Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of POS software and hardware rollouts and upgrades. Working closely with the Product Manager and the wider Digital Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative POS solutions to clients.
This role demands an understanding of payment solutions, fintech, or ePOS projects and the ability to manage multifaceted solutions with a client-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, coordinate, and oversee the rollout and upgrade of POS software and hardware.
*Support the Product Manager in aligning project deliverables with strategic goals and client requirements.
*Collaborate with the wider Digital Team to ensure solutions meet technical, functional, and business needs.
*Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables.
*Monitor and manage risks, resolving issues proactively to maintain project timelines and quality.
*Conduct onsite visits to client locations as required to support deployment and ensure smooth implementation.
*Provide clear communication and regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
*Maintain thorough documentation for all project activities, ensuring attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience: Proven experience in payment solutions, fintech, or ePOS project delivery.
*Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Product Managers and digital teams, contributing to a cohesive and results-driven approach.
*Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the deployment of POS systems and related hardware/software solutions.
*Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail to manage complex project components effectively.
*Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate challenges, offering innovative solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
*Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including clients and technical teams.
*Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationally to client sites as required, in addition to working onsite in Birmingham on occasion.
