Job Description:
Intro to the job / job description Join Distinct, a modern and inclusive recruitment service supporting success in the UK and USA. We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team and help our Financial Controller manage key finance operations.
Location: NG1, Nottingham
Working hours: 9am - 5:30pm (5pm finish on a Friday)

Role Overview - Process bank postings and month-end reconciliations for USD and GBP accounts
- Manage sale invoices for the UK and US, and handle credit control
- Update client contracts and maintain placement data
- Prepare reports for senior leadership
- Review employee expenses and provide team cover as needed
About You/Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a finance team
- Experience in credit control and customer communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Alignment with company values; Xero experience is a plus
