About the Role
As the Management Accounting Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the finance team, working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance. You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis while managing a small team. If you love getting stuck into the numbers and helping a business make smarter decisions, this could be the perfect fit for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Preparing monthly management accounts - making sure they’re accurate and on time.
*Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, working with teams across the business.
*Analysing performance to identify opportunities for growth and cost-saving.
*Keeping a close eye on costs and finding ways to optimise spending.
*Supporting key business decisions with financial modelling and insights.
*Managing and developing your team to help them reach their potential.
*Making sure everything complies with internal and external financial rules.
*Collaborating with different teams to provide clear financial advice and guidance.
What We’re Looking For
*A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar).
*Solid experience in management accounting - experience in retail or FMCG is a bonus!
*Strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
*Leadership skills with a passion for supporting and developing your team.
*Confident using financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP software).
*A great communicator who can build relationships with people at all levels.
*Someone who can handle a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
