Job Description:
M B Connected are partnering with a well-established SME within the construction industry who have a strong reputation in the West Midlands; based in Erdington, committed to delivering high-quality projects.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the daily finances.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business committed to excellence, with a positive work environment. Salary on offer £27,000 - £33,000 per annum DOE.
Key responsibilities:
*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Processing invoices and payments.
*Bank reconciliations.
*Maintaining accurate financial records.
*Assisting with year-end accounts and audits.
*Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key requirements:
*AAT qualified or part-qualified.
*2 + years work experience in a similar role.
*Strong understanding of accounting principles.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
