Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Associate MRICS Quantity Surveyor to join the London office. The successful candidate will lead high-profile projects, mentor a team of surveyors, and contribute to business development activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to step into a senior leadership role while working on some of the UK’s most exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Project Leadership: Manage the cost and commercial aspects of complex projects from inception to completion.
*Cost Management: Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies, ensuring projects are delivered within financial parameters.
*Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring satisfaction.
*Team Management: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
*Contract Administration: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, including NEC and JCT forms.
*Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring robust cost control and governance.
*Business Development: Actively participate in networking, client presentations, and proposal preparation to secure new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience
*Qualifications: Chartered MRICS status is essential.
*Experience:
*A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
*Proven track record of delivering complex projects across sectors.

*Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction cost management and procurement strategies.
*Skills:
*Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
*Proficiency in using cost management software and tools.
