DT (Resistance Materials) Teacher - Bushey
Are you passionate about design, technology, and helping students develop practical skills? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic DT (Resistance Materials) Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established secondary school located in the heart of Bushey.
Position: Resistance Materials Teacher
Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire
About the Role:
We are seeking an inspiring teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons in resistance materials, encouraging students to explore their creativity and technical abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design technology, particularly in working with wood, metal, plastics, and other materials commonly used in the field of resistance materials.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Planning and delivering engaging lessons in resistance materials at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
· Supporting and mentoring students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
· Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
· Maintaining a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
· Collaborating with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular learning experiences.

· A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for design technology and resistance materials.
· Strong subject knowledge and experience with the teaching of resistant materials (wood, metal, plastics).
