Senior End-to-End Testing Engineer
Role Overview:
Our client, a leading company in the payments sector is looking for a Senior End-to-End Testing Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the validation and certification of solutions developed by the core payments engineering teams. You will ensure that all projects requiring E2E testing meet the intended business objectives and pass technical validation across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
*Participate in all stages of the product development lifecycle, including solution definition, iterative development, platform QA, and E2E test validation.
*Collaborate with product, solution, and development teams to design and execute comprehensive E2E testing plans.
*Define test success criteria and report progress to both internal and external stakeholders.
*Identify issues during testing, provide feedback to project managers, and assist in troubleshooting.
*Act as the authorized team responsible for signing off on work before it moves to the pilot phase.
*Provide support during the production delivery and pilot phases as needed.
*Maintain testing toolkits, including environments (portals, databases, terminals), simulators, and test cards.
*Continuously enhance the testing process by applying lessons learned from previous projects.
*Work closely with the PMO team to ensure projects are completed on schedule and in line with the delivery roadmap.
Who You Are:
*Experience: A strong background in technical payments, with hands-on experience in testing payment systems.
*Technical Expertise: Knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including authorization, clearing flows, and processes. Familiarity with card associations and card brand testing is a plus.
*Test Automation: Experience with various testing approaches and tools, including test simulators and tools like SoapUI, Postman, Astrex, and UL/Fime.
*Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with functions like pivot tables and vlookup.
*Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and deliver updates in a clear and concise manner.
*Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities and a keen eye for detail.
*Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
*Adaptability: Ability to shift priorities quickly and manage changes in a fast-paced business environment.
