Job Description:
Junior Portfolio and Recoveries Administrator
Location: London
Salary: £30,000, with excellent benefits
We specialize in short-term finance and property investment solutions, including bridging loans and development finance. As part of our expansion, we are looking to hire a motivated Junior Portfolio and Recoveries Administrator to support our growing portfolio and recoveries team.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Junior Portfolio and Recoveries Administrator, you will be integral to managing loan processes across multiple stages. Your responsibilities will include:
*Post Completion: Writing to borrowers, updating internal systems, creating action points, and ensuring timely follow-up.
*Collections: Monitoring loans where borrowers are making payments or servicing their loans.
*Servicing: Overseeing loan conditions, maintaining building insurance records, monitoring registration of charges, and liaising with solicitors on outstanding conditions.
*Redemptions: Proactively contacting borrowers 3 months before loan expiry, processing extension requests, liaising with the finance department, issuing redemption statements, and updating investors.
*Default Management: Instructing solicitors and maintaining communication with borrowers in default situations.
*Admin Support: Reviewing documents and data as required to assist the team’s operations.
*Team Assistance: Supporting the portfolio and recoveries team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Highly organized, with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
*Experience in bridging finance and/or mortgages is preferred.
*Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
