Job Description:
First Achieve’s Engineering Division are seeking a Quality Inspector for their client in Aberdeen who provide machining, fabrication and engineering services support the offshore industry.
Salary up to £21/hr (DOE).
The Role:
*Ensuring that parts/components cleared for final release meet the customers specifications/requirements.
*Interpreting engineering drawings of machined or fabricated components/parts.
Dimensional verification of final product to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
*Performing quality control checks on job routing paperwork, in process inspections, final parts and documentation.
*Producing reports covering dimensional measurements, load testing witnessing and coatings witnessing.
*Managing the Non-Conformance Report system for all internal, vendor and client Non Conformance’s.
*Investigation and analysis of Non-Conformance data.
*In house calibration of equipment and control of external calibrations.
*COSHH, HAVS and PUWER assessments.
Successful Candidate:
*Time Served Engineer
*Experience in Offshore environment.
