Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000
Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (flexible hours)

Key Responsibilities: *Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Management of accruals, prepayments, and P&L reconciliations
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns
*Overseeing financial reporting and analysis
*Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
*Conducting financial forecasting and budgeting
*Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
*Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team
Required Experience and Skills: *Proven experience in financial services or a related field
*Strong skills in accounts payable, financial accounting, and financial planning
*Excellent leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team
Qualifications: *Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is desirable
*Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
