Senior Estimator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a leading construction company known for delivering innovative solutions in the interior fit-out sector. This role offers the chance to work on prestigious projects and contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare detailed and accurate tenders for large-scale and bespoke projects, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
*Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to assess costs and identify opportunities for value engineering.
*Collaborate with internal teams, including design, project management, and procurement, to develop comprehensive cost strategies.
*Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiating favorable terms where needed.
*Present cost analyses and tender proposals to senior stakeholders.
*Maintain and enhance estimating tools, databases, and processes.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within the fit-out sector
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
*Knowledge of construction contracts, methods, and industry standards.
*Proficiency in estimating software and the MS Office Suite.
*Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
*Ability to handle multiple tenders concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
