This is a rare opportunity to join as the current CAD Technician, who has been with the company for 17 years ) is retiring out of the area.
The role will be working closely with both the company owners, engaging, supportive and very easy natured leaders, people who will invest time in you, but you have to be self-motivated to get the job done to a high standard within agreed time lines.
The role of CAD Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to create, maintain and modify design plans to work on a number of products, many of which are bespoke and tailored to each clients needs.
To interpret draft drawings into usable templates.
Creating detailed CAD drawings for construction and manufacturing purposes
Converting existing design plans into CAD drawings.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to obtain project specifications and details.
Ensuring drawings are produced within project timelines and meet quality standards.
Optimizing and modifying designs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Resolving design and development problems.
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a CAD Technician.
Strong knowledge of CAD software and drafting procedures.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
