Job Description:
Do you have reception or customer service experience in Higher Education? Are you friendly and welcoming with excellent communication skills and good organisational? If so, Signature Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading Law School in a London University for a temporary, full time Receptionist. The role will start in early January for two months and is based fully on campus.
As Receptionist, you will welcome students, staff, academics and visitors, answering telephone calls and emails about various inquiries, and providing administrative assistance to staff. You will also manage meeting room bookings, ensure a clean and organised reception area, and happily assist with other ad-hoc tasks as they arise throughout the day.
Receptionist Key Responsibilities:
*Greeting students, staff and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
*Actively answering telephone calls, emails, and handling face-to-face enquiries, signposting as necessary
*Managing meeting room bookings, ordering stationery, collecting and distributing reprographics, and distributing post
*Leading in keeping the reception and other areas tidy and organised, contributing to a welcoming environment
*Providing other administrative support as required to the students, staff, and academics as well as Professional Services Staff, Facilities and The Short Course Manager
Receptionist Key Skills:
*Experience in a reception or customer facing role, ideally in Higher Education with a welcoming, positive and approachable manner
*Excellent communication skills, confident liaising with all stakeholders
*Able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently and prioritise workload in a busy, fast-paced environment
