Job Description:
Become a Housing Officer in Bristol
Are you driven by a passion for social justice and eager to make a tangible impact?
Salary: £24,962 annually (Base salary £23,962 + £1,000 for unsociable hours). Hours: 8-hour shifts, with flexible patterns between 08:00 and 22:00.Location: Bristol
Requirements:
*Enhanced DBS check
*Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist clients with HDC/Bail conditions
*Create and implement individualised Support Plans
*Conduct weekly support sessions
*Help residents apply for Housing Benefit
*Ensure properties meet Decent Homes Standard
*Coordinate with partner agencies like Probation and Prison Services, Courts, and Police
What We Expect From You:
*Skill in developing personalised support and move-on plans
*Knowledge of safeguarding practices
*Experience with vulnerable adults facing complex challenges
*Willingness to travel within your designated area
*Proficiency with computer applications
