Accounts Assistant| Luxury Beauty & Leisure brand | £28000 - £34,000 + Study Support | Hybrid (3 days in office) | Central London
JasperRose is working with a luxury beauty and leisure brand based in Central London that due to growth is looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role with ample opportunity to grow alongside the company and develop into a senior accountant. They are based in Central London with excellent transport links and are in the office three days per week (but work remotely during month end!).
The role:
This role will look over two of their major brands and will be a supportive function to two Management Accountants in the business. You will be responsible for transactional finance duties alongside month-end reporting and stock control.
Key duties include:
*Sales and purchase ledger duties
*Bank reconciliations
*Responsibility for stock control
*Month-end duties including accruals, prepayments, and journals
*Responsibility for fixed assets
*Assisting with payroll
*Adhoc reporting
The successful candidate:
You must have at least 1 year’s experience of transactional finance duties including reconciliations and conversations with suppliers. It’d be beneficial if you had prior experience of stock control and at least a theoretical knowledge of month end duties. Ideally, you will also be studying towards an accountancy qualification including AAT, ACCA/CIMA.
