Job Description:
Are you an experienced accounts professional looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity?
Our client, a well-established and successful company based in Stockton, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage purchase ledger and reconcile statements
*Oversee weekly supplier and subcontractor payments
*Allocate cash and perform bank reconciliations
*Handle credit control and ensure timely payments
*Process and input weekly timesheets
*Generate and submit HMRC reports
*Provide exceptional customer care, including managing customer inquiries and booking jobs for new builds
*Assist with general administration tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in accounts or finance roles
*Strong working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to support the team
