Job Description:
Financial Controller *Location: Rural area East of Coventry (own transport required)
*Job Type: Full-time

Day-to-day of the role: *Conduct cash flow forecasting in both GBP and USD.
*Prepare quarterly management accounts and regular balance sheet reconciliations.
*Produce detailed monthly analyses covering sales, margins, products, and profitability.
*Manage monthly payroll data preparation for submission to an external payroll company, including maintaining HR records.
*Handle quarterly VAT returns and submissions, along with corporation tax planning.
*Oversee financial risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
*Complete and submit reports to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and other relevant bodies.
*Provide continual support and identify training or development needs within the finance team.
*Maintain relationships with third parties such as banks, insurance brokers, pension and benefit providers, and HMRC.
*Prepare the annual budget and lead the preparation for the annual financial audit.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
*Proficient in IT and familiar with import and export procedures.
*Proven experience in budget setting, monitoring, and control.
*Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that meet business needs.
*Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the finance industry.
*High-level analytical skills and the ability to deliver creative solutions.
*Strong capability to develop systems and processes to manage and deliver required objectives.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, work under pressure, and multitask.
