Job Description:
,ilk Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team. This role is within a SEND school that prides itself on providing a welcoming and purposeful environment where young people can flourish and where their needs and aspirations are met.
The school would like to interview/trial ASAP and for those successful will eventually be going on perm.
This role will require you to work on a full time basis from 8:30 - 15:30 and will be paid to scale depending on your M Scale!
Roles and responsibilities as a SEND Teacher :
*Create engaging lesson plans and deliver dynamic teaching sessions
*ideally but not essential to have maths TLR
*Implement special education strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Utilise proofreading skills to assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback
*Offer childcare services with a focus on nurturing and development
Qualifications and non-negotiables for a SEND Teacher:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Proven experience working with children in an educational setting
*Strong behaviour management skills to create a positive classroom environment
*Specialisation in special education or relevant field
*Proficiency in maths and ability to teach mathematical concepts effectively
*Knowledge of speech therapy techniques for language enhancement
*Excellent proofreading abilities for assessing student work
