Head of Systems Change - London
We are working with a dynamic mortgage lender seeking a Head of Systems Change to lead the implementation of product and system changes. This role is crucial for enhancing operations and delivering a seamless customer experience. The successful candidate will oversee system development, collaborate closely with system providers, and drive automation and testing initiatives to ensure efficiency and business readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead the implementation of product and system changes from specification to launch, managing the process end-to-end.
*Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of system architecture and user journeys.
*Specify business requirements and brief the system provider, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
*Oversee the automation and configuration of systems, including release planning, test planning, and effective communication of schedules.
*Drive the integration of User Acceptance Testing, ensuring system builds meet requirements and collaborate closely with the SaaS provider to increase automation of testing.
*Project manage launches, focusing on business readiness and stakeholder engagement.
*Support the resolution of incidents and issues, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Essential Requirements:
*Strong knowledge of UK mortgages, including processes, products, and criteria, ideally with experience in residential mortgages.
*Proven experience in the development of mortgage origination and back-office systems, with a solid understanding of automation and configuration capabilities.
*Strong project and change management skills, with experience in User Acceptance Testing and testing automation.
*Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
*Excellent people skills, able to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
*Ability to work from our London office.
