Interim Group Financial Controller | High-Growth SaaS Scale-Up | 6 Month Contract
Harmonic’s delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a renowned B2B SaaS company, who run a popular online platform, in their search for an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 6 months with the potential to extend or become permanent. This role sits Outside IR35.
The Client
Our client is a B2B SaaS business focussed on a financial service offering, with strong international reach, our client has gained an excellent reputation within the sector. Following a significant fundraise in the last 18 months from renowned investors, they have continued to scale dramatically and are looking to double headcount in 2025. They operate a remote policy with the team based across the UK and Europe.
The Role
Reporting directly into the CFO & VP of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the finance function, and primarily in the first 3 months of the assignment managing an efficient and clean audit process. There is a team of circa 5 in finance who will have oversight of the financial reporting and month end. You will be responsible for managing relationship with the Auditors and reviewing work to ensure high quality.
Duties
*Effectively leading and managing the Group Audit.
*Acting as the point of contact for all audit queries.
*Overseeing the smooth running of the finance function.
*Reviewing work from the finance team to ensure high levels of accuracy.
*Ad-hoc project work supporting the CFO and VP Finance.
What we need to see (Essential experience):
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*SaaS sector experience
What we’d like to see (Bonus experience):
*Experience within the Benelux region
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: £500-650 (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote (with London office location if there’s a preference to come into the office)
