About the Role Are you a passionate and dynamic Humanities Teacher looking for your next exciting challenge? We are currently recruiting for versatile and enthusiastic educators to teach Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies, and Citizenship) in outstanding secondary schools across North, West, and Northwest London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs) to inspire students, foster a love for the humanities, and contribute to high standards of academic achievement. Key Responsibilities *Deliver engaging lessons in History, Geography, Religious Studies, and/or Citizenship to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
*Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities, ensuring they cater to the diverse needs of students.
*Promote critical thinking and encourage students to develop a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
*Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.
*Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities, open evenings, and department initiatives.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality schemes of work and resources.
About You To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*A degree in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a related humanities discipline.
*Experience teaching at KS3, KS4, and KS5 (experience with GCSE and A-Level preferred).
*The ability to teach more than one humanities subject is a distinct advantage.
*A passion for Humanities and the ability to bring learning to life through engaging and innovative lessons.
*Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of student behaviour.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
