We are seeking a newly qualified Management Accountant to manage the financial performance of several UK operating entities. Key Responsibilities:
*Financial Reporting and Planning: Produce detailed monthly management accounts with insightful commentary on variances for review by Finance Business Partners.
*Month-End Close: Prepare and post all month-end transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation with the finance system.
*KPI and Forecast Reporting: Provide monthly reporting on actuals, forecasts, key performance indicators, and variance analysis.
*Collaborative Forecasting: Work closely with various teams to ensure forecasts accurately reflect income and costs.
*Annual Budgeting: Assist in preparing the annual budget in collaboration with key stakeholders.
*Income Recognition:  Collaborate with account teams to ensure income forecasts are up-to-date and accurate, and conduct weekly reviews of billings, accrued, and deferred income to maintain financial accuracy
*Statutory Accounts and Audit Support: Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
*Overhead Spend Control and Payments: Manage and authorise all overhead-related spending and invoice processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Newly Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident in communicating with all levels of the business.
*Well-organised, flexible, and able to respond to changing deadlines.
*Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
