ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the warehouse and distribution.
The Role:
*Manage, develop, and lead a team of HGV drivers and drivers’ mates to ensure standard continues to be delivered
*Define and implement standards and support the team through training
*Plan daily transport routes and staffing, delivering great customer service as well as maximising operational and commercial efficiency
*Deliver improvements from idea to implementation with effective project management
*Ensure timely resolution of any issues arising in areas such as health and safety and people management
*Foster a culture of safety by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or unsafe behaviours, ensuring a secure workplace for all
Requirements:
*Proven experience in logistics management, including managing a team and a fleet
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
*Full UK drivers licence and forklift licence (training can be organised)
*Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
*Ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines
*Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
*Strong analytical skills in relation to logistics planning
