Job Description:
I am pleased to be working in partnership with a global organisation in the appointment of an HSE Manager for their sites in Norfolk. Based at their facility in Great Yarmouth, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Health & Safety and Environmental strategy for the business. This role is to ensure a safe, healthy work environment, compliant with relevant industry standards and safety legislation, ISO 45001 and 14001 requirements and key result areas for HSE.

Key responsibilities
*Oversee the development and implementation of robust HSE plans, interface plans and bridging documents.
*Maintain a record of proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety, and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments.
*Ensure that workplace tools, equipment, process, and procedure meet industry standards as defined by the relevant Health and Safety Laws and Regulations.
*Oversee the capture and timely effective closure of HSE observations and investigations.
*Lead the development and roll out of sustainability and improvement initiatives using relevant HSE tools, in collaboration with other managers and staff members.
*Collaborate with other HSE role holders to promote best practice.
*Set up and regularly monitor goals and objectives, including end of year reviews for direct reports. This includes holding monthly 1:1s with each team member to manage performance.
*Day to day management of HSE team at the site, responsible for the tactical execution of HSE.
*People development and driving the growth of skills and knowledge within the HSE team.
Requirements for the role
*Degree educated or equivalent.
*NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
*ISO 45001 & 14001 Auditor qualifications.
*Team management experience
*ISO compliant integrated management systems.
*Oil and gas industry standards & regulations and safety related requirements.
*Advocate for change and can influence others to deliver change initiatives.
