The Role:
Southwark Music seeks excellent music tutors for a range of teaching roles in Southwark primary schools.
Curriculum Tutors – We are recruiting music specialists to join our supportive team of Curriculum Tutors in delivering whole class primary music curriculum lessons. The appointed tutor would deliver Southwark Music’s newly updated Curriculum Music Scheme across the primary age range ensuring that music is integrated into the culture of the school. The scheme covers singing, pitch work, rhythm reading, percussion playing and active listening. All curriculum tutors receive thorough training and continual mentoring and support throughout their time working for Southwark Music.
About You:
The nature of the job requires initiative and a proactive approach as well as the ability to work under pressure.
This post requires a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service DBS check at Enhanced level.
