Job Description:
An exciting opportunity for an accomplished personal tax specialist has arisen within the well -established tax department of this prestigious and flourishing international firm.
The key elements of the role can be summarised as follows;
*You will be responsible for a range of challenging and interesting clients which includes a number of high net worth individuals, some non-domicile and non Uk resident clients, partnerships as well as some trusts.
*Whilst the role has a focus on compliance work, including some complex cases, you will also deal with some technical advisory work on the portfolio.
*In addition, there will be plenty of client contact including attending client meetings as well as liaising with HMRC.
Ideally, you will be ATT qualified ( at least ) and qualified or studying for the CTA exams. You should be experienced in preparing self-assessment tax returns and also, if possible, possess knowledge in some or all of the following areas; basic private client advisory work, advising on EIS, SEIS and VCT investments and possess a good knowledge of UK residence and domicile rules.
