Job Description:
L&D Trainer
24 hours per week (3 days)
Are you a highly organised, enthusiastic trainer looking for a step into part time hours?
I am working with an organisation looking to expand their established team and this newly created role forms part of a small HR team, who work closely together to provide first rate employment and learning opportunities to their staff.
You will be supported by a dedicated L&D Manager, and you will work alongside another trainer who can share best practice and act as peer support.
As an excellent communicator, you will be expected to deliver engaging face to face training sessions that meet mandatory requirements.
A relevant teaching/training qualification is not essential (although would be advantageous). If you have experience in the health and social care sector that would also be advantageous.
You will need strong IT skills and the successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check.
Responsibilities will include:
*Delivering a range of courses to staff, including but not limited to Induction, Moving & Assisting, Fire safety, Record keeping, and Safeguarding.
*Complete and maintain accurate records on the LMS platform.
*Keeping up to date with legislation and regulations
*Regularly reviewing and improving all training, exploring different delivery methods, evaluating and reporting on successes and making recommendations when required.
As a highly efficient and resilient individual you will have a strong work ethic and be able to work on your own initiative. You will have a proven eye for detail and accuracy and be used to a busy workload and meeting deadlines.
