Job Description:
HR Administrator required to join a fast paced and high growth business who offer a great working culture and hybrid model of 2 days per week in their offices based between Portsmouth and Southampton.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has had exposure to a busy HR department and enjoys working in a supportive role providing all HR Administration to the business.
My client is looking for a forward thinking, confident and proactive HR Administrator that will enjoy working within a collaborative and supportive role.
As the HR Administrator you will report into the HR Business Partner and will support a small HR team with all generalist administration providing all day-to-day transactional support around the employee life cycle. You will also be the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance.
Main duties will include:
*Being the first point of contact for all HR enquires, advice and guidance, offering first line support.
*Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation and induction arrangements have been completed.
*Maintaining the HR system; data entry including e.g. accurate and timely entry of new employee information and employee HR data changes, ensuring accurate HR administrative processes and procedures are followed.
*Taking responsibility for HR administrative processes including e.g. sickness absence records, maternity/paternity records, and monitoring probation periods.
*Support HR project to enhance processes and improve the employee experience.
*Document and follow HR transactional processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
*Supporting with recruitment administration, including liaising with hiring managers and arranging interviews.
What you will need:
To be successful in this role you will have had exposure of working within an HR Administration role ideally within a busy, fast paced HR department.
You will demonstrate excellent administrative skills along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will understand the importance of working with confidential information and providing up to date and accurate reports as and when required.
You will have excellent communication skills, along with being highly organised and proactive in your approach.
You will be a self-starter who can use your own initiative to complete tasks and support the wider HR team and business.
You will be confident in working with an HR system, pulling reports for management.
