Job Description:
Seeking a natural leader with knowledge in metal manufacturing, CNC, polishing, plating, coating, finishing & assembly.
Exciting opportunity to set up an in-house production unit within the Architectural Ironmongery Sector. Set the production process and disciplines and coach the team.

Core responsibilities will typically include:
*Implement production systems, processes and disciplines including but not limited to planning, scheduling, and sequencing to ensure best use of resources and on time delivery of customers’ orders.
*Introduce manufacturing practices covering manufacturing, finishing, assembly.
*Establish and improve the quality assurance processes and disciplines.
*Create and maintain HSE standards ensuring safety through 5S disciplines.
*Lead, train, motivate and support the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including process improvements and problem resolution.
*Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
*Budget and cost control.
*Schedule production and assembly activities with OTIF requirements.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
*Proven success in a similar production / metal manufacturing management role.
*Comfortable producing a high volume of bespoke / made to order products.
*Understanding of metal manufacturing or related components.
*Experienced setting production processes and quality assurance controls.
*Understand principle of manufacturing software such as: ERP & MRP systems.
*A natural leader who enjoys a hands on approach.
