Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Start Date: January 2024
Salary: £80 - £110 per day (£400 - £550 per week)

Reeson are working with a vibrant and supportive primary school in Chelsea, dedicated to fostering the potential of every child. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with autism starting in January 2024.
Role Responsibilities *Provide personalised support to help the child access the curriculum and develop essential social and communication skills.
*Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and adapt strategies that meet the child’s specific needs.
*Use your understanding of autism to create a structured, calm, and engaging learning environment.
*Build a positive and trusting relationship with the child to encourage confidence and independence.
*Monitor progress and contribute to the development of individualised learning and support plans.
What We Are Looking For *Experience: Prior experience supporting children with autism or other special educational needs in a school setting is essential.
*Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability to respond to the needs of the child.
*Knowledge: Familiarity with autism support strategies, sensory needs, and inclusive teaching practices.
*Commitment: A proactive approach and a genuine passion for making a difference in a child’s life.
*Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, SEN support, or child development are advantageous but not required.
