About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Decorator to join our maintenance team at a local Derbyshire organisation. Your role will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carrying out painting and decorating tasks across hospital facilities, including wards, corridors, and communal areas.
*Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, priming) to ensure high-quality finishes.
*Selecting appropriate materials and techniques to match organisation standards and specifications.
*Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and minimising disruption.
*Collaborating with the maintenance team to schedule and complete tasks efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience as a painter/decorator, ideally in a commercial or public sector setting.
*Knowledge of paints, finishes, and preparation techniques.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
*Understanding of health and safety requirements.
