Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Bristol

A Specialist Behaviour Provision in Bristol is seeking a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. This SEN School caters for children and teenagers displaying challenging and anti-social behaviour, often due to diagnosed social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as Autism and ADHD.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Promote positive decision-making amongst students.
*Build strong, meaningful relationships with pupils.
*Implement restorative practices and therapeutic strategies to engage students.
*Support improvements in attendance and behaviour.
*Enhance emotional wellbeing and self-esteem.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
*Determined and resilient, with a strong interest in mental health and behaviour.
*Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people.
*Able to manage challenging behaviour with patience and care.
*Previous experience working with children or in a similar setting is advantageous.
*A degree in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field would be ideal.
