Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in Guildford who are looking to recruit a Senior IFA Administrator to provide technical administrative support to the Paraplanner and Financial Adviser within the firm.
1. The applicant should be highly experienced, and certainly have been working in Financial Services for at least five years.
2. The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
Processing new business for both individual and corporate clients.
Extensive knowledge of Investment Bonds (onshore and offshore) ISAs, Venture Capital Trusts, pensions (individual and group), Private Medical Insurance and Life related business.
3. The applicant should be very confident on the telephone and be able to fit into a team of advisory, advisory support and admin.
4. The applicant needs to be extremely competent using XPlan, including the fee reconciliation side of the software, which will be a crucial part of this role.
5. The candidate will have excellent numeracy skills and be a proficient user of Excel.
The successful applicant can expect a salary range between £30,000-£35,000 in addition to a fully comprehensive employee benefits package including Pension (up to 10% contributory), PMI, IP, DIS and annual bonuses both discretionary and performance-related. Holidays will be 22 days plus one day for each year of service to a maximum of 25.
