Senior Ecologist

Salary Circa £35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct surveys: Preliminary Ecological Appraisal, EcIA, protected species, and biodiversity net gain assessments.
*Design and implement mitigation, manage species translocation, and prepare management plans.
*Manage projects, liaise with clients, and contribute to planning-led projects.
*Lead on protected species licensing and collaborate across disciplines like landscape architecture and arboriculture.
*Undertake marketing and CPD activities, and develop ecological work in East Midlands, London, and the South-East.
Requirements:
*A degree in a relevant discipline and full CIEEM membership.
*Experience in large multidisciplinary projects and EPS mitigation licenses, holding at least one survey license.
*Strong botanical ID skills, knowledge of UK habitats, species, and legislation.
*Full UK Driving Licence
