Job Description:
Are you an HCPC-registered Psychologist looking for a meaningful and rewarding role? We’re collaborating with a highly regarded provider of specialist care and education to find a passionate Psychologist to join their team in Cumbria.
About the Organisation
This independent organisation is a leader in delivering specialist care and education for children and young people. Their focus is on supporting individuals with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD, and special educational needs. Services are provided in both educational and residential settings, ensuring tailored care and support.
The Role
As part of a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), the successful candidate will:
Conduct clinical assessments.
Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, both one-to-one and in group settings.
Work with young people aged 5-19 across specialist schools, children’s homes, and integrated care provisions.
You’ll primarily be based in a school rated "Good" by Ofsted, contributing to the positive and nurturing environment they’re known for.
Contract and Benefits
Type: Permanent, term-time position.
Hours: Full-time preferred, but part-time applicants are welcome.
Salary: £60,900-£71,500 per year (pro-rata for part-time).
Training: A full induction and on the job training
Holiday: You’ll be rewarded with 35 days holiday including bank holidays

What We’re Looking For
HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, or Educational Psychologist.
Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including ASD, trauma, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Strong skills in clinical assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions.
