Job Description:
Our client a leading Medical Device Manufacture is looking to appoint a Buyer Administrator To execute supply chain processes and to provide administrative support to the Supply Chain team.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
• To ensure any changes agreed with the Supply Chain Manager are updated on the ERP system.
• To work with Category Specialists to ensure that all suppliers are compliant with LSAS.
• To Support the Supply Chain Manager with administration in the absence of Category Specialists.
• To chase open Purchase Orders with suppliers to ensure that the product is on track to be delivered and in line with requirements.
• To ensure Purchase Orders are accurate on the ERP system (due dates, quantities, unit price)
• To support other Category Specialists to close Works Orders.
• Support Production Planner Administrator when required with preparing end of batch paperwork.
• To work with other Category Specialists to ensure that all suppliers are compliant with LSAS.
• Continuous improvement - To initiate, support and lead Continuous Improvement projects as required.
• Health & Safety - All employees are to be aware of and understand their health & safety responsibilities as laid out in the Summit Medical Policy and its associated documentation. All employees have a legal duty to take all the care needed for the safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their activities and to co-operate with the employer in complying with statutory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• Detail orientated.
• Proven ability to work within cross-functional teams.
Desirable:
• Experience in using QMS systems.
• Experience in using ERP systems.
• Experience of working within an Manufacturing / Engineering Environment.
