SEN Teaching Assistant *Hourly Rate: £13.02 - £14.74
*Location: Tower Hamlets, London
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary with potential for long-term or permanent placement
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for someone who is available for last-minute assignments starting early in the morning and is open to a position that could potentially become long-term or permanent.
Day-to-day of the role: *Be available to receive phone calls from 7am for same-day assignments.
*Work closely with students with special educational needs (SEN) from 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
*Assist SEN students in their daily school activities, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed in their educational environment.
*Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate a supportive and effective educational experience for all students.
*Adapt to varying educational settings and student needs with flexibility and a positive attitude.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN students.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to work flexibly and respond to last-minute calls.
*A compassionate and patient approach to handling the varied needs of SEN students.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
