This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious part qualified Management Accountant, looking for a step into a new challenge in a fantastic sector!

The role will report directly to the Group FC, and will initially join the small finance team and take responsibility for producing the management accounts and analysis.

The key duties of the role will include:
*Production of management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
*Leading on year-end audit of stat accounts.
*Drive automation of the Finance functions processes.
*Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
*Ensuring posting of monthly results into the ledger, creating strong controls
*Striving for faster financial closing to maximise the time available to provide insight and value add analysis and commentary while meeting deadlines.
*Developing appropriate policies, procedures and identifying opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
*Responsible for ensuring finance systems are compliant, efficient and fit for business purpose.
*Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
The successful candidate will:
*Be Part Qualified/Finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 2 years experience in a management accounting role - Essential
*Have advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software packages - Essential
*Have experience of implementing automation and be committed to continuously look to improve processes - Essential
*Have solid knowledge of accounting standards and be technically strong - Essential
