Sales Manager
Based in Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Bonus
Full time role covering London & South East area
Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales Manager to lead their sales team. The ideal candidate will be eager to mentor and develop a team within a fast-paced and technically driven environment.
Your role will be instrumental in fostering the company’s growth and maintaining the reputation for quality and excellence in the stone wholesaling market.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and execute yearly plans to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
*Manage and oversee the sales team to drive sales performance, including setting sales targets and monitoring team members’ performance.
*Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
*Manage / have oversight of delivery schedules
*Manage / have oversight of sampling
*Lead the sales time in promoting the business with open days, working with organisations such as BIID to develop training days and customer visits.
Key Experience Required:
*Proven work experience as a sales manager or a similar role in the building supplies, interior design or construction related industry.
*Strong business sense and industry expertise.
*Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
*IT literate
*LIve within easy commuting distance of Kingston Upon Thames.
*Car owner/ Driver essential
