Basic Salary up to £35,000 dependant on experience with 25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays, Pension Scheme - employee pension contribution of 5% matched by employer contribution of 15%, Private Healthcare, Season Ticket Loan, Death in Service.

Our client a professional membership body based in central London is seeking a Membership Officer to join their team.
The Role as Membership Officer
The Membership Officer is a new role reporting to the Head of Engagement and the Senior Membership Engagement Officer. The postholder will provide administrative support to enable us to effectively manage all our membership activities. This will include keeping our membership data up to date and responding to enquiries from both prospective and existing members, and commercial associates. The postholder will also contribute to ensuring a positive membership experience throughout the member life cycle (supporting prospects, onboarding of new members, management of existing members and renewals). The postholder will support the production of data and insight so we better understand what our members think, as well as being involved in the integration of our CRM system -Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Essential skills
Practical experience supporting memberships within a professional body or membership association or an equivalent professional experience e.g. customer services that gives you the confidence that you could deliver what we need.
Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Experience in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Ideally Dynamics
365).
Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
Excellent IT software skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Dynamics Marketing or
equivalent).
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments and on own
Able to deal with a variety of different pressures and activities at the same time - adaptability
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive and self-motivated with a positive.
Willingness to learn new skills
Desirable attributes
Experience of working in a professional membership organisation/charity.
Experience of producing reports
Educated to degree level.
Membership marketing experience, with a focus on member recruitment and retention strategies or equivalent.
