A General Operative / Site Labourer is required to join a manufacturing & engineering company based in Kidderminster. They specialise in fabricating process and plant equipment, cyclones, silos, chutes, pipework, etc.
This General Operative position is a great opportunity to join a well-established company on a temp-to-perm role, with the company looking for an employee to join for the long term.
The duties of this General Operative role include;
*Reinforcing fabrications using a compound filler, a cement lining, and ceramics
*Cutting ceramic tiles to size
*Lining the insides of chutes, cyclones, tubes, pipework and similar
*Painting the fabs using a 1k/2k paint system
*Often, and pre-agreed, work on site at manufacturing & steel companies / factories
*Fitting and repairing equipment
The site-work mentioned above can include one- or two-week blocks of working on site, meaning you will have to be flexible with working away.
This role would be suitable for construction workers, you need to be good with your hands, and any experience of industrial painting, lining or shotblasting would also be beneficial.
This General Operative role will be working straight days, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm.
The pay rate for this role is starting at £13.00 - £13.50 per hour.
