Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator to join the Service Delivery team at Thames Water.

As the Technical Coordinator you should be passionate about making a difference and will develop a deep understanding and appreciation of company and department objectives through your day-to-day activities.

What you’ll be doing as the Senior Technical Coordinator:

Reporting to the SMOC Technical Lead, the Technical Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Technical Lead in the day-to-day proactive discovery of Operability initiatives, to drive smart meter read performance.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Supporting the SMOC Technical Lead in day-to-day operations designed to improve overall smart meter operability/health performance.
*Using the tools at your disposal, you will support the existing SMOC team in uncovering areas of improvement as we undergo department-wide changes designed to improve performance.
*Participate in regular internal and external stakeholder engagements, reporting findings and sharing updates with the Technical Lead.
*Collaborating with existing members of the team and wider business to support the achievement of your goals.
*Concurrently delivering on several initiatives across various workstreams, you will hone in on your unique skill set to ensure that all work is delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
*They are triaging inbound technical tickets, ensuring that faults are managed by relevant parties within SLA.

Base location: Hybrid - Worcester House, Langley SL3 6EY.

Working pattern or hours 36 hours per week Monday to Friday.

What you should bring to the role: *We are looking for someone who will take ownership and see problems through until resolved. Be Collaborative and able to work across multi-disciplinary business areas to drive outcomes.
*Have Resilience with the ability to anticipate and deal with pressure, having the flexibility and staying power to support yourself and others.
*Exceptional Customer service to drive and support the business to be forward-thinking, ensuring that we anticipate customer needs in the changes we implement.
*Have proven strong Excel and data manipulation skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*A high level of attention to detail and time management skills.
*Fully competent at using the appropriate Company IT systems and office software Reporting. (Create and maintain)
