Job Description:
Employment Legal Counsel-In-House Role, LondonLocation: London (3 days in office, 2 from home)Salary: dependent upon experience, ranging from £60,000 to £75,000. With over 30 years of experience driving innovation across multiple continents, they’re looking for a highly skilled Employment Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team.
As an award-winning company with a broad international presence, they are seeking a motivated and experienced employment law specialist to support their continued expansion. You will have the chance to make a real impact by providing essential legal advice across a range of employment matters.
Key Responsibilities for this Employment Legal Counsel position: * Provide Employment Law Advice: Offer expert legal guidance on the full spectrum of employment law, including hiring, termination, mobility, immigration, disputes, investigations, and advising on specific employee-related issues.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with managers and directors to assess risks associated with employment-related processes, providing clear and practical advice to mitigate legal challenges.
*Policy and Procedure Review: Monitor changes in employment law and provide advice on necessary amendments to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with new legislation.
*Collaboration with People Team: Coordinate with the People Team to maintain a consistent approach to policies, practices, and decision-making across the global organisation.
*Legal Resource Development: Contribute to the creation and upkeep of legal resources, including contract templates and training materials, and support internal training sessions to ensure company-wide compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile: *At least 3 years’ experience in employment law
*Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to risk-based decision-making
*Excellent communication skills with the confidence to advise and collaborate with senior stakeholders
*Strong negotiation skills and a proactive attitude
